Chabrol & Poirier - Service à thé en porcelaine de Limoges - 1925

Surprenant service à thé en porcelaine de Limoges par la manufacture Chabrol & Poirier vers 1925. 

Lors de l'exposition internationale des arts décoratifs à Paris en 1925, les frères Chabrol & Poirier ont été lauréats du 'Grand prix' du Jury. Cette distinction a fortement contribué à l'essor et à la reconnaissance de cette grande maison Limousine à travers toute l'Europe.

Le choix du jaune citron associé au noir et blanc rehaussé de doré, confère à ce modèle une allure incroyablement chic et pétillante.

Un modèle étincelant représentatif du chic et de la folie joyeuses des années Folles. Un modèle qui sans aucun doute aurait pu trouver sa place chez la grande Joséphine Baker.

En excellent état, juste à noter un fêle sur une tasse (Cf. photo n° 26)

Surprising Limoges porcelain tea service by the Chabrol & Poirier factory, circa 1925.
At the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925, the Chabrol & Poirier brothers were awarded the Jury's ‘Grand Prix’. This distinction made a major contribution to the growth and recognition of this great Limousin house throughout Europe.
The choice of lemon yellow combined with black and white with gold highlights gives this model an incredibly chic, sparkling look.
A sparkling model representative of the chic and joyous madness of the Roaring Twenties. A model that would undoubtedly have found its place with the great Josephine Baker.

In excellent condition, just note a crack on one cup (Cf. photo n° 26)
